Since its establishment in 1992, the institute has been serving as a hub where industry practitioners, students, faculty and community can connect and collaborate to develop solutions to challenges in our maritime, industrial and logistics ecosystem, including port development, intermodal transportation, warehousing, and logistics management.
As supporters of the Hampton Roads Maritime Collaborative, the institute coordinates with other ODU centers and institutes in order to foster interdisciplinary approaches to industry needs.
We seek active engagement with Hampton Roads maritime and logistics community and strategic partners to offer training activities and develop forward-thinking solutions for the region's maritime, industrial and logistics ecosystem.
